DataLoader Pro

Data loader Pro is an advanced feature provided by AutoRABIT. It is used for transferring data from source sandbox to destination sandbox in a more convenient way and automatically handles the parent-child relationship.
Features of Dataloader Pro:

  1. Cloud-based dataloader with scheduling capabilities.
  2. Web based tool, so there are no issues of platform dependencies.
  3. Supports Circular References.
  4. Objects are extracted from source sandbox and transferred to the destination in one step.
  5. Data integrity check: Checks for data integrity between the source and the destination.
  6. Error reporting: Detailed reporting of any failure at the time of dataloader operation.
  7. History of data loading operations: The results are available as history so that you can view the results in the future.
  8. Supports Owner id transfer.
  9. Supports User lookup transfer.
  10. Supports Chatter Data migration.
  11. Parent-child relationship is preserved.
  12. Supports Data Loader v39.0

Launch DataLoader Pro Process:

Creating New DataLoader Pro Process :
1.Click on “Create New Job”   from top right corner of the page to create new process.

2. Choose Source and Destination sandboxes which will automatically populate the details of selected sandbox.
3. Click Login and fetch objects:

4. In the Object list displayed, select the required object:

5. In Quick Find, give the name of the object to filter the search.
6. Object Dependency Graph: You can see the selected parent object and the corresponding children objects.
The following screen is displayed: (Dependency Graph)

Icon Description

Filter icon to apply filters on fields

Mapping icon to map the fields between source and destination

Zoom-In the graph. We have an option to roll the mouse wheel to forward.

Zoom-out the graph. We have an option to roll the mouse wheel to backwards.

Get into actual position

Expand the graph view

Collapse the Panel in that page.

 Parent object connect with child objects as show in screen you can select the objects using checkboxes provided to move the records of those dependency objects along with selected object. We can check the child object check boxes as below.

7. And, we can apply the mappings on object using mappings icon   on migrating object. When we click on that icon we can get model window like below :

Clear Mappings : You can removed the auto mapping and you can setup manual mappings.
Auto-Map : To map the fields automatically based on fetched object fields with destination fields.
Save : Once the mappings completed Click on Save button to save the mapped fields for that object.
Cancel : Close the modal window

8. Apply Filters On Object Fields :  Click on  filter icon to get below window.

Choose the CSV file to upload

the object records list in CSV format then click on upload file.


 automap the fields which are retrieved from CSV file.

Click on this icon to delete the filter.

To add more filters, enter the values and click Add icon.

Edit the query directly from editor

Limit field will limit the number of records to be extracted from the source, give a value in this field.

Click Validate Query, to get the number of records that will be transferred from the source     sandbox to destination sandbox. The following screen is displayed:

Provide Name & Schedule the Process :

In the Scheduling procedure, the following options are available:
Daily: the process is run every day at the scheduled time.
Weekly: the process is run weekly on the scheduled day and time.
No schedule: the process will only be saved and you can run it when required

9. Click Save to save the process.

Understanding Process Summary Page of Dataloader Pro:

Dataloader process summary page will contain the existing processes. This page mainly contain 3 panels

  • DataLoader Processes list (left panel) : Click on label name to see the process summary info on right side: This panel contains list of labels. Each label contains the process names and category and status of the process.

    Label which contains the label name, category name and status symbol
    Top of dataloader process list you have an option to filter the labels based in category wise
    Various status.
  • Process Summary panel (right - top) :

This panel contains the more details about the process including source and destination org names. You can perform different operation on the process using some buttons exist on this page as below:

Run the Process


Abort the running process. It is in disable state if the this process not in running state.


Allows the user to edit the details of a process. To edit a process, click edit and follow the steps done during the creation of the process.


Allows the user to schedule the process at which it has to be run.


Logs information and provides information about the execution of a process


Deletes a process. To delete, select the required process. Click Delete. A confirmation message is displayed asking whether you want to delete the process. On confirmation, the process is deleted. A deleted process will no longer be displayed in the summary page


Clone the selected process.

DataLoader Pro Dependency Graph :
Dependency graph represents the dependency among objects and display the count of success and error records from last run as below :

We can apply the filters and mappings on objects to run the process next time using icons on the object.

  Click Download to download  and view the CSV with transferred records and info

Apply Mappings
   Zoom-Out , Zoom- in the graph. Otherwise you can use mouse wheel.
Restore the graph position.
Expand the graph window.

Run Configurations in Dataloader Pro:

Click on “Run” button from process summary page we will get below window to run the process.
We can provide the batch size for the process to give an option to fetch the number of records for each Salesforce retrieval.

Disable Workflows

By clicking Disable Workflows, all the validation rules of the Salesforce objects will be deactivated and the data would be transferred from the source to destination sandbox.

Disable Validation Rules

Validation rules verify that the data a user enters in a record meets the criteria you specify before the user can save the record. By clicking Deactivate validation rule, all the validation rules of the Salesforce objects will be deactivated and the data would be transferred from the source to destination sandbox.

Use Bulk API

You can transfer bulk records in a go, from the
Source and destination

Minimize multiple references between same objects

When there are multiple references between same objects, unnecessary records may get picked up. This minimizes multiple references between same objects.

Incremental Data Migration

After a data loading process is done, only the newly added records are transferred into the destination sandbox.
