Registering a New Branch

You can register branches with AutoRABIT that already exist in the Version Control systems along with option to choose the Last Commit Date.

Last Commit Date: The last commit date is used to fetch changes from Salesforce org in EZ-Commit based on the specified date.

 

Register a branch in SVN

  1. Select a SVN version management in the Version Control Repositories home page.
  2. Next, click on Register Branch. The following screen will get displayed.

  1. In the field Display Name, enter the name of the branch that you want to register in AutoRABIT.
  2. The field Repository is auto-filled with the repository root. Now enter the branch name beside the parent branch.
    • E.g.: branches/Integration
  3. Select the Last Commit Date.
  4. Click Register to complete the registration of the branch.
  5. Branch is now registered.

Register a branch in GIT

  1. Select a GIT version management in the Version Control Repositories home page.
  2. Click on Register Branch.
  3. Select branches to be registered and last commit date.
  4. Click Register to complete the registration of the branch.

5. The branch is now registered.

Register a branch in TFS

  1. Select a TFS version management in the Version Control Repositories home page.
  2. Now, click on Register branch.

  1. In the field Display Name enter the name for a branch you want to register with AutoRABIT.
  2. The field Repository is auto-filled with the URL, which is provided at the time of registering the repository.
  3. In the field Branch, enter the path of the branch that is to be registered with AutoRABIT.
  4. Enter the Commit Date.
  5. Click on Register button.

Un-Registering a Branch

Select the branches to be un-registered, and click Un-register Branch to complete the action.
